Cyber Security Challenge / Challenge Sécurité Informatique : CyberSCI

The Canadian Cyber Security Challenge at CyberSecurityChallenge.ca was formed in 2011 to address the shortage of skilled resources in Canada’s IT Security workforce.  It was inspired by CyberSecurityChallenge.org.uk and will learn from similar events such as CyberChallenge.com.au and CyberSecurityChallenge.nz.

CyberSCI (formerly CySCOTT) was the the start of the “national” challenge and was held on November 19, 2016.  It followed over a dozen preliminary Ottawa events held at Algonquin College, Carleton University, Collége La Cité, McGill University, the Canadian Police College as well as many others for corporations, government departments and IT Security associations.
