Canada’s Cyber Security Challenge
In January, 2019 Surrey area college and university undergraduate students competed in a realistic cyber breach simulation with hands-on participation and analysis.

Time and Place: TBA
Format: Students will compete in teams to recon a vulnerable computer network, break through the cyber defenses, take control of the systems, and advise the company on how to defend against cyber attacks. Finalists will do on-site interviews with the sponsoring companies.
Prizes: Winning students will receive prizes up to, we expect, a fully-paid intern position in a local company doing serious IT Security work. The posting will be full-time, fully-paid for 4 to 8 months.
